In 2021, I did my first film photography project. It was based on Grace Brown’s Project Unbreakable. It was my first time using and developing film and I had no idea what I was doing. But I felt so inspired.

The project itself is about sexual assault and allowing male survivors to talk about their experiences. I wrote things that were said to me during my own SA in an A3 sketchbook and photographed myself with it. It was a project that meant a lot to me, even if the results were amateur at best, it’s still one of my favourites.

I may one day recreate it.
