On Fetishism

One of the most difficult aspects of being an out trans man, I have found, is the fetishism i would primarily experience at the hands of cis men. These men would assault, rape, belittle, dehumanise, and objectify trans people as a means to satisfy their kink. I find that this behaviour is inherited from the way trans people are treated in society (making us taboo and dehumanised) and the porn they’d consume, encouraging them to see as as a sex toy.

The art I’ll be representing on this page is a response to these experiences and a way to represent a trans person’s inability to continue taking this behaviour laying down.
